Barcode-it & Utilities 1 and 2

To get the most out of the RTA Fleet management software, we offer several utilities that will assist the user in better utilizing the system. These optional add-on utilities provide solutions to some common issues that come up as you setup the software.

The Barcode-it utility will allow you to print bar code labels and tags for items in the RTA system such as equipment, tools, tires, and other items as well. Perhaps you want to create employee id tags with barcodes - it can do that too. This utility will help you get the most out of your bar coding system.

As you use your RTA Fleet Management software you will discover new features and new ways to track your fleet. Sometimes these discoveries may require that you make global changes to your data in order to get the most out of the system. The Utilities I and II options provide several routines that will make these changes much easier to implement.

Utility Package 1 offers 26 different utilities that are guaranteed to make the job of any fleet owner or operator a lot easier. Here are a few examples of the utilities found in Utility Package 1:

Re-sequence Vehicle History - allows fleet owners to sort vehicle history chronologically instead of VRMS code;

• Clear Alternate Meters - enables owners to reset all alternate measures for a specific range of vehicles;
• Find/Delete Invalid Tires - allows owners to scan the company's files for a particular tire and delete them within the system without scrapping the tire's history altogether.

Utility Package 2 contains ten utilities that enable users to make global changes to their RTA data files. Here are a few examples of the utilities in Utility Package 2:

• Delete Range by Bin - enables user to delete parts for a range of bin locations;
• Renumber Customer - allows users to change the numbering sequence of a customer and related files;
• Change Price by Vendor - this feature allows users to change a vendor's price by a given percentage.
