VEHICLES AND ASSET TRACKING
The Vehicle Inventory module contains all the necessary Vehicle information that you will ever need.
RTA tracks historical repair and cost information for each vehicle allowing for quick and easy access to
the information when and where you need it. Additionally PM information can be
tracked and scheduled for over 200 different PM categories. You can track by miles, kilometers, fuel usage (gallons/liters), days, or several other trackable categories. That’s not all - when a service is performed, the computer automatically updates the vehicle master record, schedules
future services, and resets the PM information. At any time you can view your vehicle cost for the life, year-to-date, and
month-to-date costs.

what about Vehicle Warranty?
RTA tracks both the OEM warranty on the vehicle as well as Parts Warranty so that you can recoup 100%
of those lost reimbursements.

WORK ORDER SYSTEM
The hub of any well-run shop is the Work Order system in place. This is where RTA
really shines above our competitors. We have the most easy to use and comprehensive
Work Order system in the industry. The Work Order module gives you the power to
control "service and repair work" in your shop and gives you access to the real-time data you need to make your
day-to-day decisions. You gain instant access to your fleet information and repair
history – while the vehicle is being repaired. Planning and scheduling
PM's becomes an easy part of your operation and use of the RTA system will help you change that nasty scheduled vs.
unscheduled repair ratio. Work Orders can be created in advance (pre-built) for scheduling your shop, or entered after the work is
done (batch-mode). Powerful features include work order Templates for those
repetitive repairs, Parts Kits, Unlimited notes, Customer billing, and even overhead cost capture.
RTA is a real-time system and provides you with the real-time access to the data that you need to make those real-time
decisions. Gone are the days of finding out that you just did a brake job on a vehicle that just had a brake job two weeks ago. RTA notifies you immediately if repeat work is being performed. Of course as
the work is performed and the data posted to the Work Order, RTA will update the vehicle repair cost and history, deduct parts
used from parts inventory, update Vehicle's PM information, calculate and display mechanic productivity, update all repair cost
reports for the Division and facility, produce an audit trail in case problems arise in the future, and create customer invoices
automatically. Record keeping and all that harassing paperwork will be completed as

TIRE INVENTORY AND TRACKING
The Tire Inventory module will assist you in controlling tire costs - your second largest maintenance expense. You will
know where the dollars are being spent and how the tires you purchased are performing. Tracking
Tires has never been so easy. Simply brand your tires so that they each have
a unique tracking code and you’ll never ever “lose” a tire again. You’ll
know if it’s in inventory, at a capper or rolling on a vehicle somewhere. You
will be able to compare manufacturer and capper performance as well. Replacement
projection reports will assist you in budgeting and predictive tire maintenance- thus reducing those costly road-call repairs.
The ability to track leased tires is also included. Tire tracking reduces your headaches and saves you money off the

PARTS INVENTORY AND PURCHASE ORDERS
The Parts takes the tedium out of tracking all that cash on your shelf. By reducing
your inventory in house with proper stocking levels and reorder points, you will save money.
Most of users find that the Inventory module alone pays for the software in just a few short months!!!
Just-in-time inventory is the goal of any good Parts system – and RTA has applied over 40 years of Inventory
management to the system to make your inventory a “just-in-time” system. Parts
used are automatically deducted from inventory through the Work Order system, and you can set reorder points or you can let the
RTA system do that for you. RTA also tracks Parts warranty and tells you when a
warranted part has been replaced before you throw it away. The system will track part failure statistics so you can chose
the parts that work best for your fleet usage. RTA also tracks your usage quantity,
vendor price history, and even inventory level in other facilities within your organization.
An assortment of reports are at your fingertips, such as low/high use parts reports, parts lists, inventory turnover
reports, and many more. And don’t forget – Bar Coding is built into the RTA Parts Inventory module, not sold as a separate feature. The RTA Inventory system also includes a full-featured Purchase Order tracking system, with Vendor Invoice tracking.

FUEL INVENTORY AND USAGE TRACKING
What
good would a Fleet Maintenance system be without FUEL tracking?
Clearly Fuel is the largest expense for your operation.
We can’t do much about fuel prices – but we can help you keep track of the fuel you are using in each vehicle, and of
course the fuel that you are storing and purchasing each week.
The Fueling module gives you the ability to control Fuel inventories and usage. RTA will track fuel delivered to, or used
from, each tank, or dispensed from each of your pumps, as well as fuel purchased on the road. State Fuel taxes are automatically
calculated and charged from fuel tickets. Mileages/Kilometers and fuel usage (gallons or liters) are used to update your PM
schedules and to provide information for vehicle cost reports.
Additionally if you have an Electronic Fueling System (popular brands such as Gasboy, Petrovend, Phoenix, etc) can be
interfaced to the RTA system directly – thus saving you thousands of keystrokes and improving the accuracy of the data going
into your RTA system.
