Operating Systems:
Are you currently on a particular Operating System (OS)? RTA runs on over 600+ Platforms! From Dos to Windows (all
versions) to Unix in all its varieties. Even Vax VMS and Alpha OSF/1 are supported platforms! So no matter what your
operating system, we’ve got the software that will run on it.
Hardware Platforms:
Do you have special needs because of your hardware? Whether you are on IBM or NCR, HP, Dec, or hundreds of other supported
platforms, we probably have the right solution for your hardware platform.
Database Engines:
Although standard RTA uses C-Isam files for ultra-fast response time, RTA is compatible with Informix, Oracle, Sybase and
B-trieve on the various platforms. If you have existing applications written in one of these database systems, RTA can
keep your company compatible by using the native file system for these databases as well. This gives you the flexibility
of creating queries and update routines in your favorite development language while still allowing the power of RTA to
maintain the Fleet data.
Source Code:
We are one of the few software companies left that will still sell the Source Code to a company that wishes to modify the
program or create custom interfaces. We even have a Source Code escrow option to protect you.
Turn Key Solutions:
RTA realizes your need to deal with one vendor when purchasing a Fleet Maintenance System. We can work with your local
hardware vendor - or - you can purchase hardware directly from RTA. E-mail

GUI:
RTA has been around since 1982 - pretty good for most software companies today. Since that time RTA has undergone
hundreds-of-thousands of enhancements. The most recent enhancements deal with GUI interfaces for our Windows users.
Offering the user full windows capability is a goal of RTA and enhancements are on-going to incorporate these new and
exciting features.
Client Server:
A real buzz word the last couple of years, RTA has offered this feature before everyone knew they had to have it. Whether
you want Window clients on a Unix server or Unix or Dos clients, we’ve got the solution to make it work for your
installation.
Custom Programming:
Much of the flexibility of the RTA system comes from the years of customization for thousands of users. Many of our
features can be "turned-on" and "off" like a light switch. Just flip the switch and suddenly a hidden
feature appears and is available for use. If you need something that we don’t offer, we can custom write it for you. E-mail

Data Conversions:
Yes, we do that too. We have converted hundreds of custom data files to the RTA Fleet System.
Interfaces into other systems:
We do that too. We have existing interfaces that may "fit the bill" or we can customize and interface
specifically for your needs.
