RTA’s 27th Annual Users’ Conference Graduates Fleet Operators to Next Level
Clients attending RTA’s 27th Annual Users’ Conference experienced the second largest event in company history! Clients chose from over 45 classes, round table discussions, general sessions and network opportunities and took in a thrilling Cirque du Soleil show, “KA”! The week was fast-paced and did not disappoint! Clients had one-on-one opportunities to meet with RTA partners and vendors and learn how to incorporate additional functions into the RTA system.
Supervisors and managers from across the US, Guam, and Canada recognize the benefit of offering up-to-date training on the RTA system for their employees. Training classes were offered for new, advanced, and seasoned users of the RTA system. RTA’s annual users’ conference offers many choices for any level user. Whether new to the system or an advanced user, attendees took advantage of the various opportunities to take their fleet operations to the next level.
Operating A Better Fleet
Day-to-day users of the system commented on how coming to conference showed how to better utilize the RTA system by learning new features made available within the last year and learning features on various modules within the system. Networking opportunities within each class and general sessions proved worthwhile across the board. Besides training, the networking and comradery are the next top reasons clients attend conference. Any conference attendee will testify the networking is invaluable and cannot place a price tag on this benefit.
RTA’s users’ conference offers a full schedule for any level user. From new system set-up/basic training to advanced training and specialized classes to round table discussions, the opportunities to learn are endless. The efficiency of the classes and take home information ensures a client’s success in staying in front of technological updates in fleet management and utilization of the RTA system.
RTA helps clients become better organized and accountable to their customers and internal departments. Managers and their staffs learned how to better use and apply the RTA system to all daily activities within their shop by providing the tools needed to save the department and their clients money on items such as parts warranties and overall a better management of assets.
Ron Turley, founder of RTA, recorded several videos on the topic of fleet maintenance. Snippets of these videos were shared on how he helped thousands of fleets worldwide make the right changes to run an efficient and effective shop. Clients left the workshop wanting more. Good news! RTA is expanding these offerings through Fleet University in the coming weeks.
Fleet managers learned new features within RTA they are excited about immediately implementing to improve reporting, tracking, forecasting and assisting with budget preparation. The RTA system helps fleets become (and stay) organzied, find focus, improve scheduling, and offers justification on purchases as well as the benefits of not outsourcing fleet maintenance.
Client Advisory Board
Panel discussion was held with various members of RTA’s Client Advisory Board sharing their experiences and insight of participation on this board. Volunteers met with RTA staff and management via phone/video conference meetings during bi-monthly meetings over the past year to provide input and feedback on software upgrades and modules as well as internal structural changes to better benefit all RTA clients. Client Advisory Board members also participated in opinion surveys which helped shape the future of RTA.
Membership on the board is open for the 2017-2018 season. Commitment to attending bi-monthly, virtual meetings beginning in May and have a willingness as a current client to share is all that’s required. Contact RTA to advise of your interest.
