Full-System Training at RTA (Glendale, AZ)

BASIC TRAINING
3-Day Full-System Basic Training Class: $500 (Send 3 or more attendees: $450 each)
The Full-System Basic Training class covers all of the main features in the RTA software; perfect for those implementing a new system and those managing multiple areas within the software. The many hands-on workshops will reinforce what you have learned as you set up an entire RTA system from scratch. Field-by-field explanations are provided and attendees set up departments, vehicles, parts and more. All day-to-day operations in the software are then covered as you’ll create fuel entries, purchase orders, work orders, check the PM reports, and many other daily functions. A must-take class with plenty of Q&A to fully understand and utilize your RTA software. Note: If you are a SaaS client, you can send up to 5 attendees per class to our Glendale office for free training.

The Full-System Advanced Training class is designed for those who have used the basics of RTA and are ready to take their systems to the next level. Some previous experience with the RTA software is recommended. You will learn shortcuts, tips and tricks, and advanced entry methods to optimize your data- tracking and productivity in this fast-paced 3-day class. Just a few of the many topics include: advanced PM tracking, warranties, parts reorder process, many advanced and time-saving work order options, and reports analysis. New features recently released are also covered. Don’t stop with just the basics — begin utilizing the advanced features that originally brought you to the RTA software. CRYSTAL REPORTS TRAINING
1-Day Crystal Reports Training Class: $300 (Send 3 or more attendees: $250 each)
Crystal Reports is the popular reporting tool for relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle. The basics of Crystal are covered in the morning, including linking data tables, table relationships, and connectivity. Learn how to create and run a procedure, select fields, and design a report layout. In the afternoon we’ll cover more complex formulas and filtering the data, along with conditional if-then-else statements. Create sorts and subtotals while filtering the data to specify only what you want to see. Build interactive user prompts for searchable parameters and utilize the report templates. Numerous hands-on workshops allow you to practice creating your own reports.

REGIONAL Full-System Training

3-Day Full-System Basic Training Class: Early Registration Price (30+ days in advance): $695 (Send 3 or more attendees: $645 each). Bring your own laptop. RTA-provided laptop is an additional $50.
We’re taking our three-day Full-System Training class on the road across the United States in 2019. This class is designed for those new to RTA, as well as those who have used the software but have not attended an RTA training class. Numerous workshops are included to practice the initial set-up steps as you’ll create an entire RTA system from scratch. You will then perform all day-to-day operations in the software. A must-take class with plenty of Q&A to fully understand and utilize your RTA software. Cancellation Policy applies. See details on registration form online. Please note that the included training options for SaaS clients does not include Regional Trainings – regular registration fees apply.

BT101 – System Setup – (Dates TBA)
This is class 1 of 6 in our BT series. We cover the initial setup and configuration of the system. Topics include Facilities, Departments, Customers, Employees, Vendors, Vehicle Classification, and VMRS codes. Length: Approx. 3 hours

BT102 – Vehicles – (Dates TBA)
This is class 2 of 6 in our BT series. We cover the initial setup and usage of the Vehicle Tracking module. Topics include adding vehicles and equipment records, preventative maintenance scheduling, and vehicle warranties. Length: Approx. 3 hours

BT103 – Fueling – (Dates TBA)
This is class 3 of 6 in our BT series. We cover the initial setup and day-to-day usage of the fuel tracking module. Topics include setting up the fuel depot, recording vehicle fuel usage, and fuel variance reporting. Length: Approx. 1.5 hours

BT104 – Parts/Purchase Orders – (Dates TBA)
This is class 4 of 6 in our BT series. We cover the initial setup and day-to-day usage of the parts inventory tracking and purchase order modules. Topics include adding inventory and non-stock parts, barcode cross-referencing, case lots, part warranty, requisitions, creating purchase orders, receiving parts from vendors, and the most common reports in the parts section. Length: Approx. 3.5 hours

BT105 – Work Orders – (Dates TBA)
This is class 5 of 6 in our BT series. We cover the day-to-day usage of the Work Order module. Topics include creating work orders, itemizing repairs to be done, charging parts and labor hours to the repairs, recording repairs performed outside your shop, closing completed work orders, and the most common reports in the work order area. Length: Approx. 4.5 hours

BT106 – Basic Reporting – (Dates TBA)
This is class 6 of 6 in our BT series. We will be covering the most commonly used reports in each of the major modules in the system: PMs, Fuel, Parts, Purchases and Work Orders. Familiarize yourself with these reports and gain immediate results from the data you work so hard to capture. Reports covered are: Report Print/View Features, Vehicle Master Info Lists, Vehicle Aging, Vehicle Replacement Budgeting, PM Inspection, Parts Inventory Lists, Low-use Parts List, Open PO Lines, PO Transactions, PO Receipts By Invoice/Vendor, PO Receipts By Account Number, Parts Usage, Parts Adjustment, Parts Activity, WO Scheduling, Open WO Lines, Accountant Report By Date, History Report by Vehicle, Repair History Interval, WO Transactions By Vehicle, Vehicle Operating Cost, Total Vehicle Cost, Cost per Mile, Vehicle Cost Audit, Fuel Transaction Lists, and Fuel Billing reports. That’s right – RTA can provide the same classes which are taught at the corporate office in Phoenix and regionally throughout the country at any client’s facility. With on-site classroom training, choose the training format that best suits your company’s need – anytime you need it. Client’s provide the classroom and RTA will provide the computers and training manuals. What could be more convenient and affordable? RTA utilizes full-time staff to instruct its end users.
